How an Azure assessment works
1. Scope and access
First we confirm scope (subscriptions/services) and the access needed to run the Azure Security Assessment checks across the agreed environment.
2. Scanning the environment
Automated scanning across the Azure tenant to identify misconfigurations, possible gaps and compliance checks, capturing passed and failed resources across the tenant.
3. Analyse and prioritise
We analyse findings, categorise by severity and compliance impact, then prioritise recommendations based on factors such as risk severity, ease of implementation, and potential business impact.
4. Report
Report with pass/fail totals across scanned Azure resources with severity breakdown, compliance pass/fail by control, and easy-to-implement recommendations, including 5 priority actions to reduce risks quickly.
5. Review results together
Once the assessment is complete, Azure Consultants will discuss the results with you in a follow-up meeting. If desired, we can assist with implementing the necessary changes.
